Tom Brennan:President and Founder Artemis Vision
Tom Brennan is president and founder of Artemis Vision, which builds machine vision systems for automated quality inspection and optimization for manufacturing and logistics. An AIA Advanced Level Certified Vision Professional, he has been working in the industrial machine vision and imaging processing software market for the past 11 years. He has led the design of numerous successful machine vision systems for industries from medical to automotive to defense. Tom got his start in the vision industry designing machine vision vehicle detection algorithms as a research effort for the DARPA Urban Challenge, and holds a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University.
Van Garrett:Director of AMR Solutions Vecna Robotics
Van Garrett has over 30 years of experience in engineering and automation-based technology. With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Business and Education from Cambridge College, Van not only has a strong foundation to understand the technical elements behind autonomous solution, but he is also uniquely able to clearly educate businesses on effective autonomous solutions. He is a trusted and innovative resource to advise businesses on how to optimize facility workflows using robotics and he has an extensive history of helping companies create success with cutting edge automation companies like Vecna Robotics. Van served as a founding member of an industrial autonomous mobile robot company before advancing his career by joining the Vecna Robotics team as the Director of AMR Solutions. In the role he is helping more companies bring their operations into the future with uniquely intelligent autonomous solutions.
Van’s proudest achievement of his career are the 7 years he served as a Flight Engineer for the Army Reserves where he flew the 10th Special Forces units to training missions on Hueies (UH1H) before moving on to Black Hawk Helicopters (UH60).
Evan Kaiser:Industry Sales Director, Warehousing and Logistics Rockwell Automation
Evan Kaiser is the Industry Sales Director for Warehousing and Logistics at Rockwell Automation. With 30 years of experience at Rockwell Automation, Evan has a broad knowledge of automation and information solutions and how they are applied into the warehousing and logistics market. In his current role, Evan manages strategic planning for this industry segment and is responsible for business development across all global regions. Evan holds an electrical engineering degree from Purdue University and resides in Milwaukee, WI.
