Learn how to create complex shapes and forms in your CAD models with advanced surfacing and subdivision modeling capabilities

The shapes used in today’s products are changing. Products are increasingly sleek and highly stylized, incorporating organic shapes that exist on the bleeding edge of innovative design. During this webinar, you’ll discover how advanced surfacing and subdivision modeling capabilities can help you aesthetically enhance your existing designs and develop exciting new consumer products.

This webinar will cover:

        - Benefits of advanced surface and subdivision modeling capabilities
- Creating complex shapes and forms in your 3D modeling environment
- Incorporating advanced shapes into your product designs

Facilitating intuitive stylized shape creation and advanced subdivision modeling

Solid Edge® software Subdivision Modeling is an intuitive freeform modeling toolset that helps you develop unique products based on organic shapes. The technology makes it easier for you to work with sophisticated design software to develop high-quality advanced shapes, even if you aren’t experienced in computer-aided design (CAD) technology. Similar to the technology that has been proven in the entertainment industry, subdivision modeling has been adopted to suit manufacturing industry needs.

Subdivision modeling is an easy way to create complex geometry, which can be subdivided to give shape flexibility. By continuously manipulating and subdividing an initial shape, you can add greater levels of detail to your designs.
