Today, many AI assistants work by retrieving small fragments of documents and using those pieces to generate an answer. This approach can be very effective, but it can also make it difficult to see exactly where the information came from or how it connects back to the original source. In this session, I’ll share a small prototype that experiments with a different approach. Instead of breaking documents into fragments, it starts from structured sources (such as API specifications) and preserves the relationships already present in that information. This allows AI-generated answers to be traced back to the underlying source and structure. The goal of the experiment is to explore how AI systems might provide answers that are easier to verify, explain, and trust.
